Glass Care

Cleaning

Each piece is cleaned and polished before shipping. Over time the lead in the solder can naturally oxidize. Dust your glass as needed with a dry soft cloth. If you need to clean the glass you can wash with water or use a non-ammonia glass cleaner. Do NOT use cleaners with ammonia this can cause the solder to break down. If desired you can use carnauba wax to make your piece shine again

Installation

If you want to hang your piece in a window, we recommend a hook screwed into the window frame. For lighter pieces you may hang them on the wall with a nail. We do not recommend suction cups as they can detach over time.

Safety

Stained glass contains a small amount of lead. It is only harmful if ingested or inhaled. We recommend washing your hands after handling and keep out of the reach of pets and children.
